The James Effect -- P R O J E C T / J A M E S -- James Dewees, Reggie and the Full Effect

James Dewees (notably known from Reggie and the Full Effect, The Get Up Kids, and My Chemical Romance) has stumbled into hard times. As a hero to some and an inspiration to others, it’s difficult to watch the conservatory-trained musician work construction jobs to pay the bills and support his family.

We are collecting donations (minimum of $1.50USD) to help give James a little peace of mind. While we don’t aim to achieve to collect a drastic amount, even a little bit to help pay for groceries for a month would surely be appreciated.

If all goes well, James will be receiving a money order for the collected amount after the final Reggie and the Full Effect show in Philidelphia, PA, on September 14, 2008. It will be given in an unmarked envelop handed directly to him (or someone responsible such as Frank Iero, Leathermouth vocalist, My Chemical Romance guitarist, owner of Skeleton Crew records).

If that is not possible, alternate arrangements will be made and James will get it.

Please consider sending in a couple of dollars. If nothing else, support James by getting tickets to the Reggie and the Full Effect tour, purchasing music or merchandaise.

Project James Merch!

Don't want to send money? That's okay! We have some merch you can buy and the proceeds will all go to James. Brandi handles the orders for the stickers and pens. Johnnie handles orders for the shirts. All prices include shipping both within the United States and internationally. All orders are shipped using USPS (United States Postal Service) first class mail. We are not responsible for your order when it leaves us. However, if your order does arrive damaged, if you will pay for the shipping to send it back, we will send you a replacement for free. The reason for this is because all profits are going towards James and we'll already be soaking the cost of replacing the product.
